Nigeria aims to include cryptocurrencies in tax system meltdown
The Nigerian government is considering imposing taxes on the cryptocurrency industry. The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is planning to introduce a new tax law to achieve this goal. Although Nigeria is a major cryptocurrency market, it currently receives minimal tax revenue from cryptocurrency-related activities. The FIRS is seeking the support of the Nigerian National Assembly to implement these changes.
